  1. Not Hiring A Professional To Sell Your House.

Selling your House by yourself is not a prudent action. A good Realtor will help you sell your home fast by setting a fair and competitive selling price for your house. Emotions may be running too high at that time and an experienced Realtor by interacting directly with potential buyers can help take some of the high emotion out of the process so you don't have to, and eliminating tire kickers who only want to look at your property but have no intention of putting in an offer. The Realtor can also effectively negotiate home sales for you, resulting in more money than you could on your own. Most importantly, if any problems crop up during the sales process - and they commonly do - an experienced Realtor will be there to handle them for you.

  1. Seller Failing To Do Full Disclosure Before Closing

I have seen, Sellers end up paying big money because they were not upfront and forthcoming about any issues in their house with the buyers. Any problem with the property will be uncovered during the buyer's inspection, so there's no use hiding it. You can fix the problem ahead of time or price the property below market value to compensate for the problem.

The person you select can make it a stress free and profitable activity or a terrible experience for you. It’s your home and it’s your money, please take your time to check the following:-

*Is the Realtor full-time or part-time.

*Recently sold transactions.

*Ask for client testimonials.

*Ask for past clients phone# and talk to them directly.

*Ask about any Specializations & Awards achieved.

  1. Forgetting Important Repairs

If you don’t repair your house before it goes on the market, you will lose money. It’s always cheaper to fix things ahead of time, rather than have buyers see your house in disrepair.Your property will sell for less or the buyers will ask for credit back to take care of the repairs.

 5. Not -Tidying Up Your Home

Clutter can break deals and it can also make you lose lots of potential dollars. Decluttering your home is least expensive and it creates a sense of spaciousness throughout, from the kitchen countertops to the overstuffed closets to the trophy-lined shelves in the den. It doesn’t cost you much to get rid of all that ‘junk,’ but it can result into big rewards.
